England through to the World Cup, a lasting heatwave and ice-cream Fridays – what else could we ask for in this blazing summer of 2018?

For the team at MomentumABM, the icing on the cake has been our first internal awards. Last night we crowned our winners from a list of over 20 entries showcasing the very best of ABM.

Prizes were awarded in three categories:

Work that delivers commercial impact – recognising how a client’s ABM challenge is understood and solved.

Fresh perspective and clear purpose – for original thinking that links account insight with creative output.

Power of account based marketing – showing how ABM connects sales and marketing teams for transformational results.

Entries covered the full spectrum of ABM challenges – from the need to change brand perceptions, to accelerating deals and reaching new buying centres.

Our Grand Prix prize went to a recent project which grabbed the attention of an entire exec team. Activities included a novel way to reach a captive exec audience on a long-haul trip to an innovation workshop. With an ‘in-flight magazine’ we brought together a series of thought leadership articles, case studies and thought-provoking content – all of which talked directly to the collective priorities of the exec team.

By touch down our stakeholders were fully primed on the value our client had to offer and ready for a series of workshops which led up to a multi-million dollar deal.

We also recognised work that helped one client strengthen marketing efforts for clusters of accounts with industry-specific toolkits to unify sales and marketing teams.

Several of our entries also celebrated the very best in creative ABM, clearly demonstrating how insight and relevant messaging results in campaigns and tools that deliver the best possible ROI.

Congratulations to all our winning team and clients – including Google, Oracle, Microsoft, and SAP – and to everyone who made this year’s shortlist.

Looking forward to seeing next year’s entries already!
